TEN-TEC is proud to announce that we are the exclusive distributor in the US for YouKits brand products.
The first product we are introducing from YouKits is the FG-01A a 1 to 30 MHZ Antenna Analyzer. This is not a kit but a fully assembled unit ready for use. The FG-01A utilizes the latest in SMT technology to provide a compact unit with lots of value.
This antenna analyzer is the smallest (measures less than 4“ tall) and easiest antenna analyzer to use on the market today. It has a color display that graphically shows you the SWR and Impedance of the antenna under test. This unit is right at home being carried to the top of the tower or on the bench in your shack.
The FG-01A with its color graphical display allows you to dial in the frequency you wish to operate on and immediately read the SWR and Impedance of the antenna at that frequency. The FG-01A also allows you to easily adjust the frequency to determine the desired SWR points of the antenna. For instance if you wanted to know the 2:1 limits of your antenna you would just change the frequency using the large knob to move the graph to the 2:1 point on the center of the display and read the frequency.
No more guessing where the low SWR point is on your antenna. No more guessing about you antenna characteristics, you just read the SWR and Impedance on the color graphic display or look at the curves to fully understand the characteristics of your antenna.
The FG-01A comes with a wall mounted Lithium battery charger. The charger provided with the FG-01A will charge the R9411 (18650) Lithium battery. With no battery you can use a quality regulated power supply such as the TEN-TEC model R4005. A Battery is included with the FG-01A.
This unit is sold exclusively in the US by TEN-TEC and has a one-year replacement warranty. This unit is not manufactured by TEN-TEC therefore the non TEN-TEC manufactured return policy applies.
R9411 Battery Pack: Internal Lithium power source and accessory for the Antenna Analyzer listed above
WARNING: Do not power the FG-01A with 12 VDC power source with Lithium Battery Installed

The analyzer works great. The instructions are limited but it is easy to use, especially after you look at some of the youtube videos on the product. My disappointment was that it does not come with the necessary part to connect the antenna to the analyzer. Ten-Tec should supply this part or at least tell you that a connector is needed.

It arrived promptly and works as advertised. The only minor issue is that the measurements change if I am measuring a nearby portable antenna (like my buddipole) and I try to hold the FG-01A in my hand versus lay it on my bench. I am probably too close to the actual antenna. Otherwise, the device is wonderful.

This is my first antenna analyzer and am amazed at this product. Very easy to use...no manual needed. Turn it on and get your readings quite easily. Definitely should have had this test instrument in the tool box a lot sooner.

This is the first antenna analyzer I have used - fantastic product and extremely helpful for building antennas! How did I get along without it! The manual is written by someone unfamiliar with English, but the controls are intuitive so the manual is not really needed.

Really easy to use, very accurate, portable, and ideal for the ham. I've owned several different ones, although this one is not as sophisticated as some more expensive units, you can get the job that needs to be done without reading a thick manual and getting into a lot of theory.

Great product, easy to use. Manual is on mini-CD, which won't work with a slot-load CD drive, but the manual is also available on-line.

Extremely easy to use. Very responsive in that it draws infinitely faster than the AEA unit that I previously used. The only issues experienced are (1) that the manual is distributed on a mini CD that cannot be used in a slot loading CD drive [useless to users of Macintosh products], and (2) the frequency step size is fixed at 100 KHz. The former issue is easily dealt with as the manuals are available on-line. The later issue can be mitigated somewhat by either interpolating the graph or by manually entering a center frequency (the step size will still be 100 KHz but, if used in combination with the interpolation, you can narrow down on the resonant frequency fairly easily). The manual indicates that you can change the step size but you're really changing the offset (i.e. center frequency) while the step size of the knob remains at 100 KHz. By far, this is the easiest antenna analyzer to use when compared to MFJ and AEA. I've swept multiple antennas in a fraction of the time that was possible with either the MFJ or AEA. I'm super pleased that I finally decided to purchase the FG-01.

This tool is fantastic.makes setting up portable very eazy.building antennas is my favorite part of the hobby, and this makes it so simple
included was a battery pack which adds to the value. 5 stars thx W6USC
