In 1901 Guglielmo Marconi received the worlds first trans-Atlantic transmission. In the century since that historic moment, Amateur Radio has blossomed alongside technologies that have given us satellites, personal computers, cell phones and instant text messaging. Sometimes we, the Amateur community, lead the technology, sometimes we follow. And with each new advancement we endeavor to push the envelope a little further than we did before.

Advancements in design, technology, features, size, weight and capabilities can hide a simple fact....being an Amateur Radio operator is about getting on the air and experiencing the world as only we, as radio operators, can truly appreciate. It is also a simple fact that from our activities we are able to gain insight into what is important in radio design, what we can do with the technology and what we see coming around the corner.

Ten-Tec would like you to participate in the design of a future radio transceiver. Tell us what you like or dislike, what you want and what you don't.

As an incentive, we are offering 10 $25 Visa gift cards to be given out at random July 1 from a drawing of all hams that complete both surveys for us.
