The model 516 Argonaut V QRP transceiver has been discontinued from production.

A limited number of new and demo units are available from stock. Please contact the sales department at sales@tentec.com or (865) 453-7172 for ordering information. There are no specific plans for a replacement model at this time.

  1. Sorry to hear the 516 Argonaut will be discontinued. I certainly looked like a rig I would want to have.

  2. I have strongly considered obtaining an Argonaut, however, I want 6 meters in any new rig I buy. A more compact Argonaut with 6 meters included would be very desirable in my view.

  4. The 516 I received in June is a great little radio. I feel fortunate I was able to get my order in with the factory while in Dayton this year. The Ten Tec staff was very nice to deal with. 73, Bob, W4WTO

  5. I hope this doesn’t mean that T*T is going out of QRP. There are many Argo fans out there that would love to see a lean, mean QRP machine come out of Sevierville again!
