Enjoy the world of QRP CW operation with one of our single band transceiver kits. Available for 20, 30, 40 or 80 meters. 3 watts power output. Easy to build and simple to operate. Each unit covers a 50 kHz segment determined by you at the time of construction. Kit includes all required components and professional silkscreened and painted enclosure. Single conversion superhet receiver performance is superlative and QSK is just what you expect from the hams at TEN-TEC.
TEN-TEC began in 1968 with the release of very inexpensive “QRP” transceiver kits. We thought it would be fun to revisit those roots. We explored today’s RF technology and components to see just how inexpensive, compact, and simple a quality QRP kit rig could be. The low price and great receiver design make these QSK VFO-controlled transceivers a great choice. Get on the air from anywhere! Each kit is priced at only $ 124.00.

Just finished my 3rd kit, 20m now up and running, 1st contact into Russia, made a few errors building, but my own fault. Rx is very lively, and no problems on Tx very nice T9 note.Price in uk works out at $180!

The design is solid and mine all continue to work well after years of use. The only technical problem I experienced was drift in one of my 20m radios. But even that was an educational experience. I learned about temperature compensation in VFO circuit components thanks to the hams at Ten-Tec who were very helpful. I have made six of these covering 80 through 20 meters. The best way I can sum up how nice these QRP transceivers are is to invite you to watch and listen to them for yourself!

THE ONLY THING THAT THE MONO BAND CW RADIOS ARE LACKING IS THE USE OF IC SOCKETS. I KNOW HAMS WHO HAVE BUILT THEM AND THEY SAY IT WOULD BE EASIER TO ADD IC SOCKETS TO KEEP FROM FRYING THE IC'S WHEN INSTALLING THEM. ITS A HARD RADIO TO BUILD BUT WHEN ITS ALL SAID AND DONE ITS A WORK HORSE OF A RADIO, I LOOK FORWARD TO BUILDING THE 20 METER VERSION VERY SOON.
