World Class Radio / reasonable cost

For years I used only older low end rigs and home brewed qrp rigs. I tinkered with home brew filters. I had heard about Ten Tec DSP filter and about 2 years ago purchased the Ten Tec 516 used. I was floored by Ten Tec great radio, quiet sensitive receive and the great variable DSP. I knew I needed another. I obtained a Jupiter 538 used from an individuual. Regretfully it was not working and Ten Tec folks helped diagnose the problem over the phone. I sent it to Ten Tec, they repaired it and back to me. It has been so great, I bought another! It may not have all the do-dads some of the other big radio makers have on their equivalent priced rigs, but the super sensitive, quiet receive for its class is just great, great, great!...and the service perfect!
