The model 1213 kit allows the rear panel AUX I/O jack on the Orion and Orion II transceivers, the rear panel ACC 1 jack on the Omni VII and Jupiter transceivers, or the front panel ACCESSORY jack on the Pegasus to be directly connected to a typical PC sound card for digital mode operation.

The interface works great once the internal jumpers are placed in the proper position for the Pegasus 550. Instructions say to jumper pin 1-3 and 2-4. Receive works in this configuration but not transmit in VOX mode. As a last resort the jumpers were changed to 5-7 and 6-8 and everything came to life and is now working great. Once the interface was configured right, the unit works perfectly. Nice kit, easy assembly and except for the pin configuration the instructions were very plain, simple, and easy to follow. Thanks Ten Tec for another great piece of equipment and thank you for the included patch cables. Nice touch!

A very nice kit that took me about one hour to build. Works just fine with my Omni VII. I really appreciate the two 1/8" audio patch cables that are included - that is a big plus, and makes the cost of the kit one heck of a deal!

I wanted an interface for PSK for my Jupiter xcvr. Easy to assemble kit took 20 minutes from opening box to completion. My computer did not require any soundcard adjustment. All reports are that my signal is narrow, no splatter, and easy to copy (I use 20 watts). In order to key my Jupiter and use the interface, I selected line as the audio source from the menu and I use my foot switch to put the rig in xmit. Easy and excellent audio.

Good quality components and easy to assemble, the final product looks very professional if you do not make a mess during assembly.
An excellent project to start in kit building.
